Muck Éva Band
Éva Muck switched from classical piano to bass guitar as a teenager. In addition to working on international theater and local session projects, she won the “Queen of Strings” international competition in 2015 in the bass guitar category. Following this recognition, she began writing her own music.
Her first solo instrumental album, titled ‘Bassology’, was released in 2017 with the support of the Hangfoglaló Program, in a fusion jazz style. Alongside her original compositions, the album also includes a few covers—including a piece by Bach—offering listeners a dynamic and intimate musical experience. The first music video was created for the track Born Free, followed by a dreamlike video in 2019 for the song Hypnose.
In 2022, Éva and her band released a three-part live studio session, featuring internationally acclaimed drummer Péter Kaszás, keyboardist Joci Márkosi, and saxophonist/EWI player Andor Jasper. The recordings were made at Supersize Recording Studio with the help of producer Patrick Kremán and videographer Márton Bolyki.

In 2023, Éva released the track I Moog You, which features one of the world’s most iconic synthesizers, the Minimoog Model D, played by Joci Márkosi.
In 2024, the band returned with another live session series. The tracks Inferno and Golden Hour are performed on the panoramic rooftop terrace of Pluto Sky Lounge, with audio once again handled by Patrick Kremán and video production by the Backhole Sessions team.
In 2025, the band will release their first-ever vinyl album on the Gr1993 Records’s Quality Vinyl Projects label, featuring all of the live sessions recorded to date. The album cover is collaboration between visual artist Szilvia Márton and painter Csilla Szatmári, whose artwork served as the inspiration.
