T\u00f6rekedjen az eredetis\u00e9gre, de ne a minden\u00e1ron val\u00f3 elk\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00fcl\u00e9s legyen a c\u00e9lja. Legyen vil\u00e1gos zenei koncepci\u00f3ja. Az egy\u00fcttes tagjai legyenek a hangszer\u00fck avatott mesterei, legyenekzeneileg k\u00e9pzettek; olyanok, akik k\u00e9pesek b\u00e1rhol \u00e9s b\u00e1rmilyen k\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00e9nyek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a professzion\u00e1lis megsz\u00f3lal\u00e1sra. Mind m\u0171v\u00e9szk\u00e9nt, mind mag\u00e1nemberk\u00e9nt legyenek egym\u00e1sra inspir\u00e1l\u00f3 hat\u00e1ssal, ugyanis az egys\u00e9ges zenekari megsz\u00f3lal\u00e1s nem a megsz\u00f3lal\u00f3 hangszerek egyszer\u0171 \u00f6sszege, hanem zenei szint\u00e9zise, ami magasabb szintre emeli az egy\u00fcttzen\u00e9l\u00e9s \u00e9lm\u00e9ny\u00e9t.<\/p>\n<p>Egy j\u00f3 zenekar mindig k\u00e9pes a meg\u00fajul\u00e1sra. Meg\u00fajul\u00e1sra, de \u00fagy, hogy a kor\u00e1bbi zen\u00e9ik alap\u00e9rt\u00e9keit tudatosan k\u00e9pesek meg\u0151rizni, \u00e9s meg\u0151rizve \u00fajra\u00e9rtelmezni. Az\u00e9rt k\u00fcl\u00f6nlegesen j\u00f3 egy\u00fcttes a DJABE, mert mindezeknek az ig\u00e9nyeknek k\u00e9pes megfelelni.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dagy \u00e9rzem t\u00f6bbsz\u00f6ri meghallgat\u00e1s ut\u00e1ni is, s\u0151t egyre intenz\u00edvebben, hogy ezzel a zenei anyaggal a DJABE zenekar v\u00e9g\u00e9rv\u00e9nyesen meg\u00e9rkezett a nemzetk\u00f6zi \u00e9lvonalba. Szerintem ugyan eddig is ott volt, de ez ut\u00e1n a CD ut\u00e1n a mostan\u00e1ig fanyalg\u00f3k is k\u00e9nytelenek lesznek l\u00e1bhoz tenni a fegyvert \u00e9s \u00fajra betenni a CD-t a lej\u00e1tsz\u00f3ba. Err\u0151l a korongr\u00f3l \u00e1rad a frissess\u00e9g, a lend\u00fclet, az intellektu\u00e1lis ig\u00e9nyess\u00e9g \u00e9s a legjobb \u00e9rtelemben vett profizmus. M\u00e1r az els\u0151 taktusok ut\u00e1n vil\u00e1goss\u00e1 v\u00e1lik a hallgat\u00f3 sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra, hogy kiv\u00e9teles zenei anyagra lelt.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6r\u00f6mmel lehet gratul\u00e1lni a DJABE zenekarnak ehhez a kiv\u00e1l\u00f3zenei teljes\u00edtm\u00e9nyhez! A T\u00e1ncolnak a kazlak CD zenei hangulata a szem\u00e9lyes \u00e9rintetts\u00e9g miatt is, kifejezetten l\u00edrai \u00e9s k\u00fcl\u00f6nlegesen intellektu\u00e1lis. Fel is tette a m\u00e9rc\u00e9t, m\u00e9gpedig igen magasra. Ezzel az \u00faj zenei anyaggal megint siker\u00fclt el\u0151bbre l\u00e9pnie az egy\u00fcttesnek. A kijel\u00f6lt \u00fat helyes, el\u0151re a vil\u00e1gh\u00edrn\u00e9v fel\u00e9! The main composer is Tam\u00e1s Barab\u00e1s again. Ben Castle took over the role of saxophone player on the recording in the studio. Djabe, the Hungarian Music Award, eMeRTon and PRince Award winners band, which has become one of most popular Hungarian invited bands to foreign festivals in the last years, has published its new CD. The band has further improved the sound of the successful Sheafs Are Dancing. The listener can hear a more dynamic material with more momentum. Next to the usual Djabe band\u2019s lineup, its\u2019 English music friend, Ben Castle (Sting, Marillion, Jamie Cullumn, George Michael) can also be heard. A further colourful patch of the CD is the closing piece, which is played by the Echo String Quartet. Apart from two tracks, the whole of the album was composed and arranged by the bass guitar player, Tam\u00e1s Barab\u00e1s.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]What makes a band a good band?<br \/>\nIts music has to be honest, can give something to the audience. Has a tendency to be original, but its\u2019 only aim should not be separation at all cost. The members should be masters of their own instruments with a musical education background; musicians who can professionally perform anywhere and in any circumstances. They should be inspiring towards each other not only as an artist, but also as private people as the unified sound of a band is not the simple sum of the instruments, but it is the musical synthesis, which raises the experience of playing in a band to a higher level.A good band is able to revive but in a way, that it can deliberately keep its\u2019 previous basic values of music and with saving them, refresh them. This is the reason, why Djabe is a good band, as it is able to meet these demands.I write about the latest CD (Slices of life) of the band in the spirit of maintaining the existing values and also refreshing the music. I feel, even after several sessions of listening, and what is more I feel to a continuing greater intensity, that with this album Djabe has once and for all made it to the international front line. As far as I am concerned Djabe was already there anyway, but after this CD even those who were making faces before will have to admit defeat and replay it. This record reflects freshness, momentum, intellectual demand and professionalism in the best meaning. After even the first beat of Doromb it is clear for the listener that he has found an extraordinary piece of music material. The original introduction is followed all the way through by vibrating joyful music, beating, dynamic.To sum up, Djabe can be happily congratulated for this excellent musical performance. Through the personal touch as well, the music atmosphere of Sheafs Are Dancing is definitely lyrical and especially intellectual. It has certainly set the standard, to a very high level. With this new music material the band has managed to step forward once more. The direction is right, heading for world renown!
