Djabe & Steve Hackett recorded the iconic Carpet Crawlers from the “Lamb Lies Down On Broadway” album in 2023. The recording took place at the Banatul Philharmonic of Timișoara, Romania.

This is the first time Péter Kaszás, lead singer of Djabe sings a Genesis song. During the 2023 Djabe & Steve Hackett tour it was one of the peak moments of show.
Carpet Crawlers was one of the most played songs by Genesis. Both version with Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins are very popular among the Genesis and Steve Hackett fans.
